Mac’s Schools

These are the 30 afterschool programs that in 2025 applied for and received funding from the Ron McBride Foundation. Students enrolled in these afterschool programs participate in enrichment opportunities in the areas of STEM, tutoring, sports/recreation, dance, mental health support, character education, cultural enrichment, mentoring, school clubs, and even career counseling. For many of these families, afterschool programs are the only safety net preventing Utah children from being unsupervised and alone after school each day.

Fullmer Legacy Academy

There are very few opportunities for schools to receive funding for afterschool programs. Most other donors who could possibly fund schools explicitly state in their grant requirements that they will not fund afterschool programs. The Ron McBride Foundation is the only place many schools have to turn to in order to create real, lasting change in their community.
